Synergy Summit 2020 Postponed

Valley Stream, NY, March 9, 2020 – With increased concerns about coronavirus, we want to update you on our plans and position on holding the Synergy Summit. In light of recent developments in California, including the declaration of a state of emergency, along with an increase in identified COVID-19 cases across the country; as well as early responses to our poll, we have decided to postpone the 2020 Summit.

While we have full faith in the capability of the U.S. health system to minimize the spread and severity of COVID-19, we feel we must be mindful not only of participants and attendees, but also of the elderly patient populations we serve. The health and safety of post-acute care residents, who are most susceptible, is our primary concern.

We are committed now more than ever to the importance of the content and agenda we have prepared for the 2020 Summit. The coronavirus outbreak and its impact on our industry only increases the need to discuss best practices and solutions for pressing issues. To this end, we have already secured new dates for the event which will be rescheduled to June 22-24, 2020. Risks of the virus are anticipated to diminish during the summer months and we are confident that we will be able to successfully move forward with delivering an amazing experience for attendees.
