FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Synergy Summit 2020 Cancelled

Valley Stream, NY, April 22, 2020Due to the ongoing effects of the coronavirus pandemic, the 4th annual Synergy Summit, previously rescheduled for June 22-24, has been officially cancelled for 2020. The event will not be rescheduled for this year.

The Synergy Summit, an exclusive event for owners and C-level executives in the skilled nursing and long-term care industry, made this difficult decision in the wake of continued restrictions and spread of the COVID-19 pandemic. While efforts had been made to reschedule the event, originally planned for March 22-24, the extended duration of the pandemic has made planning for this type of event an impossibility for founders and sponsors. “There’s no question that now, more than ever, attendees would benefit from the education and networking opportunities the Synergy Summit offers. That said, we believe it is in the best interest of the industry we serve to focus all energy and resources on ensuring the health and safety of residents and employees. For now, that means adhering to social distancing guidelines and focusing on quality care,” stated Yosef Daskal, with Synergy HCA, one of the Summit’s original founders. “Along with the rest of the country, we hope for a speedy end to this crisis, and appreciate all those who have supported the Synergy Summit this year. We look forward to hosting a successful, healthy, and safe event in 2021.”
